In partnership with Søren Henrichsen, Danish and Swiss designer, Mizensir unveils a new and original object, the Coucou Perfumed by l iconic fragrance from Mizensir: Christmas Tree.
Driven by a common passion for creativity, Swiss made and excellence, Søren Henrichsen and Mizensir have combined their unique know-how to give a new olfactory dimension to the cuckoo clock, a magical and emblematic object of watchmaking craftsmanship.
The two Geneva houses, Mizensir and Søren Henrichsen, imagined sublimating the design of the object through perfume with an olfactory staging of the object.
For this first collaboration was born the idea of applying a scented varnish on the HANSRUEDI cuckoo clock with the iconic fragrance of the Mizensir house, Sapin de Noël, to evoke the emotion of wood, the Black Forest and the the magic of Christmas.
All HANSRUEDI are also made in Geneva, in the adapted workshops of the SGIPA foundation. The mechanism comes from the Black Forest, the historical cradle of the cuckoo clock. All wooden elements are made from indigenous species (Oak and Ash).
The raw material is local and so is the work. It is therefore a project that promotes short circuits and minimizes gray energy emissions while highly stimulating the creativity of the local artistic scene.
Each cuckoo clock is tested for 48 hours, inspected, packaged and shipped. Please don't touch the bird when it's outside, it might not want to go home.
