“I wanted to make a perfume around the juniper berry and play on its aromatic liveliness. Little by little, I realised that the ingredients I chose were leading me to other, more unexpected effects. Alongside the flavours and scents of gin, came the tactile comfort of cotton denim, as if the senses were having fun with each other! You never know where the materials can lead you. It is said that the musician plays with notes. The same terms should be used in perfumery. And as long as I have the pleasure of having fun, I will carry on with my vocation namely perfumer.”
